DAVIE STONE: THE FIGHTER
Davie Stone has Romberg's Syndrome. When he was 8 years of age one side of
his face stopped growing leading to major reconstructive work over the
years. He has been through countless painful operations since childhood and
has also had to fight his own battle with alcohol and drug addiction.
The positive turnaround he made in his life is testament to the character he
is. He has been chosen to represent Scotland in goals at the Homeless World
Cup in Rio de Janeiro, the first time he has ever been on a plane. He has
also been invited to Norway to do some football coaching. Davie has become
an inspiration to others and is hoping after just finishing his
autobiography that a publisher will print his amazing story.
