‘Natural Light II’ Portraits of Scottish writers.
Thirty years on from ‘Natural Light’, thanks to Creative Scotland, I had the unique opportunity to revisit some of the previous participants ie Alasdair Gray, Jim Kelman, Liz Lochhead and also to photograph another generation of leading literary lights including Irvine Welsh, Ali Smith and Ian Rankin. It was an exciting and rewarding project to be involved in, taking me from Shetland (Jen Hadfield) to Chicago (Irvine Welsh) and many places in between.
The book was subsequently launched alongside an exhibition in 2016.
